About Solitude Mountain
Solitude Mountain is an undiscovered jewel that is nestled in Utah among the towering peaks of the Wasatch Mountains in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Award winning, private, yet unpretentious is Solitude Mountain Resort, a four-season resort, just 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport.
The season typically starts mid November and runs through mid April (weather conditions permitting). Lodging and dining facilities are open year-round with breaks in the shoulder season. Don't miss the summer activities either: mountain biking, disc golf and hiking.
The vibrant ski in/out lodges are all warm and expansive, designed to pamper and relax, with great dining options. This is Utah's newest full service pedestrian only mountain resort, with a general store, retail and rental shops. Solitudes' Nordic Center allows the opportunity to cross-country ski or snowshoe amidst the beauty of the Wasatch.
